I'm not going to keep you in suspense on this one. Synthetik Studio Artist 2.0 is my favorite application of all time, regardless of platform or genre. It's a painting program. It's a rotoscoper. It's an animation package. And it's an effects suite. It does it all, and it offers creative tools no other package can meet no matter how much money you spend.

In that time, the company has never returned an e-mail of mine, never kept me abreast of developments and never issued a single news release announcing any of their new plugins. First Look at Fireworks and Dreamweaver MX

Macromedia has rechristened their suite of Web Authoring applications with the introduction of Studio MX, which consists of the already released Flash MX and Freehand 10 along with just announced versions of Dreamweaver MX for web authoring and editing, Fireworks MX for creating web graphics and ColdFusion MX for creating dynamic content.
Windows version released now

Toon Boom Technologies today released Toon Boom Studio 2 for Windows. Responding to an e-mail, a company representative told Creative Mac that the Macintosh version of TBS 2 is currently "in R&D" with no specific launch date at present. The current Mac version (for OS X 10.1.4) is 1.2.
