QuickTime Broadcaster also released by David Nagel Apple today released the public preview of QuickTime 6. The announcement follows months of delays resulting from licensing issues related to QuickTime's new MPEG-4 standard. Introduced back in April for the education market in two configurations, the consumer model will be available in just one: a 700 MHz G4 for $1,099. The consumer version is available now through the Apple Store. Select Pro 4 supports DCS/multichannel format by David Nagel Human Software has released version 4 of its Select Pro plugin for Adobe Photoshop. Select Pro 4 is a color correction filter that supports LAB, RGB and CMYK color modes in programs that support the Photoshop 4 filter standard. It's available now for the Macintosh. New version includes CineAcquire by David Nagel Pinnacle Systems has started shipping a modified version of its CineWave system called CineWave Classic. CineWave Classic is designed for video and motion graphics professionals who already own Apple's Final Cut Pro and are looking for an uncompressed capture option. The company has also released CineAcquire, a video capture and device control application and plugin for Adobe After Effects and Pinnacle's Commotion Pro. |
