Federal prosecutors in San Jose this week charged a former Apple engineer with stealing trade secrets related to the company’s nascent self-driving car project, in the weeks before he quit to join a self-driving startup in China. On Saturday, FBI agents arrested Xiaolang Zhang at Mineta San Jose International Airport as he tried to board a plane for Beijing on a last-minute ticket.
